General Ledger Balances can be imported from another software package via a comma-separated (CSV), a tab-delimited, or a pipe(|)-delimited file. Access this by going to Tools -> Imports -> Import GL Totals.
Be sure to pay attention to the GL Account File Column Format section to correctly format your file.
