SMTP allows you to send email from your preferred mail server.
SMTP setup can be done at three levels:
- User SMTP Setup (Admin -> System -> Users)
- Company SMTP Setup (Admin -> System -> Company New/Edit)
- System Settings SMTP Setup (Admin -> System -> System Settings)
A user's SMTP setup will always be used first, if enabled. If not, then the company's SMTP setup will be used, if enabled. Finally, when neither the user nor the company setups are enabled, the System Settings SMTP Setup will be used.
